Visa for coming to Bhutan

As per the policy of tourism of Royal Government of Bhutan, all the foreign visitors must travel to Bhutan through licensed tour operators with an intended itinerary. A visa is necessary to enter Bhutan but it is not issued abroad. Visitors can travel to Bhutan through complete package trips for which the minimum tariff is set by the government. Before your arrival in Bhutan, applications for tourist visa have to be submitted through a government-licensed local tour operator like Tsheringma Tours & Travels. It must be applied for a minimum of 30 days before travel. We will process your visa clearance but you must submit your complete visa application. After confirming your travel dates and itinerary, full Tour payment has to be submitted to the government who will then issue visa clearance letter. Visa fee of $ 20 has to be paid with the tour payment.

Visas will be approved with a reference number in advance and the actual visa will be stamped in your passport upon arrival at airport.
